Zilong Zhang

Zilong Zhang is an associate professor at School of Optics and Photonics, Beijing Institute of Technology. He received his M.S. degree in optics from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2010 and the Ph.D. degree in optical engineering from Tsinghua University in 2016, respectively. During 2013, he was a visiting scholar at the department of EECS in Northwestern University, Evanston, USA. During 2016 and 2017, he was a postdoctoralfellow at the CREOL of University of Central Florida. His research interestsare in the areas of multi-freedom modulations of laser field, especially in the generation, transformation and propagation of spatially structured laser modes.The publications of his group include the papers in the journals of LPR/AP/APL Photonics/PRApp/PRA/OLT/OE and so on. He also works as a guest editor of Journal of Opticscurrently. And he is also a member of the laser application branch committee inChina Optics and Optoelectronics Manufacturers Association.
