Jin-Shi Xu

Jin-Shi Xu received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2009 and won the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award. He is currently a full professor and doctoral supervisor at USTC. His research focuses on experimental studies in quantum information and quantum physics based on optical and solid-state spin systems. He has been supported by the National Science Foundation of China for Outstanding Youth. His work has been published in international renowned journals such as Nature Materials, Science Advances, and Physical Review Letters. Jin-Shi Xu’s research has won the second prize of the National Natural Science Award. He also serves as Secretary-General of the Optical Quantum Science and Technology Committee of the Chinese Optical Society, editorial board member of Journal of 《Science China：Information Sciences》and 《Quantum Frontiers》
