Dabing Li's research interests include the physics, the III-nitride materials and photoelectric devices. He has broken through the technology of fabricating low defect density AlN templates, the efficient doping technology for AlGaN based materials, and the large-area growth technology for AlScN films. Based on the above achievements, he has developed high-efficiency DUV photoelectric devices. He has published more than 100 papers, 1 PCT patent and 30 Chinese patents. He serves as an editorial board member of Science China Physics, Mechanics&Astronomy, and deputy editor in chief of the 14th editorial board of Journal of Semiconductors. He has undertaken more than 10 national level science & technology projects in China and received many awards, including the First Prize of Natural Science Award of Jilin Province, the First Prize of Technology Invention Award of Jilin Province and the First Prize of Jilin Province Science and Technology Award. Now he is the Vice President of Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
