Dong Pan is anassistant researcher at the Beijing Academy of Quantum Information Sciences. He is a senior member of the China Institute of Communications. He serves as a panel member of the 3rd Conference on Electronic Information Materials and Devices and the "Electronic Information and Future" Scientist Forum, and an executive member of the Expert Committee on Electronic Information Materials and Devices. He is engaged in the research of quantum communication and quantum networks, and has hosted projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Open Projects of National Key Laboratories. His research achievements have been featured Spotlight on Optics (Spotlight, OSA), and have been included in the "Promoting Frontier Technology Leadership in Key Areas" of the "Beijing's Construction Plan for an International Science and Technology Innovation Center during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period." He has published over 20 papers in journals such as IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials (IF=35.6), Photonics Research, IEEE Network, IEEE Transactions on Communications, Physical Review A, etc. He has applied for 18 Chinese patents and 1 US patent. He has received honors such as the Highly Cited Paper Award and History Highly Cited Paper Award from the ADI (a science partner journal), IOP Trusted Reviewers Status, and the Best Poster Award at the Light Conference 2024.
