Lan Ding is currently a professor with the School of Physics and Astronomy, Yunnan University, Kunming, China. He was selected into the Ten-Thousand Talents Program of Yunnan Province of China. Prof. Ding has long specialized in the research and applications of terahertz and ultrafast spectroscopy, optoelectronics of topological/low-dimensional materials, and plasmonics. He has hosted 4 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 3 projects funded by the Basic Research Project of Yunnan Province. He has published more than 40 papers in renowned journals (including Nanophotonics, Physical Review B/E, Optics Letters, and Optics Express) and given over 10 presentations at important academic conferences. He also served as reviewer for 18 SCI journals (e.g., Optics Letters, Advanced Materials, Advanced Optical Materials, and Annalen der Physik), Co-chair of SS15 at ACES-China-2022, and member of organizing committee of the 6th International Conference on Frontiers of nano-Photonics (FOP6).
